J ohnny Casanova, a Costa Rican immigrant so-nicknamed for his wandering eye, learns on the same day that his true love, Paloma, and American girlfriend, Bobby, are both pregnant. Each demands that he marry her. His choice is complicated by his religious faith and the dreams that spurred him to immigrate to America in the first place. Johnny’s dilemma plays out during a visit to Bobby’s invalid father who extols the many facets of love. Ultimately Johnny Casanova is a story of enduring love, but not before everyone’s notions of it are tested.
